About CariX

CariX is an online platform that helps drivers find a car repair shop and send it a booking request. It gives shops free tools for bookings, jobs, customers and estimates.

For drivers#

search for a shop by the service you need and by city;
see the shop's profile: services, opening hours, address and reviews from customers who had a completed job there;
send a booking request, and the shop confirms it or suggests another time;
keep track of your cars, documents and expiry dates (roadworthiness test, insurance) in one place.

For shops#

a public profile in the CariX directory;
booking requests received online;
a workspace for bookings, jobs and customers;
non-fiscal estimates sent to the customer for approval.

What CariX does and does not do#

CariX is an intermediary: it does not repair cars and is not a party to the contract between a driver and a shop. Each shop is an independent trader and is responsible for the work, price, warranty and fiscal invoice. See our Terms and conditions.

What it costs#

At launch, CariX is free for drivers and for shops, and no payments are made through the platform. If we introduce paid plans for shops, we will announce them in advance, and a paid plan is activated only with the shop's explicit agreement.

Where we are#

We are starting in Bucharest, with the shops that join the platform.
