What a diagnostic scan involves

A diagnostic scan reads the fault codes stored in the car's control units and helps the mechanic find the problem, from a lit check-engine light to power loss or electrical faults. A proper diagnosis saves you from parts being replaced by guesswork.

How to choose a repair shop in Ibrány

  • Ask for a written price before the job and what it covers: labour, parts, materials.
  • Compare it with the typical range of 8,000–25,000 HUF. A price far below it deserves one more question.
  • Ask what warranty you get and keep the invoice: without it, a warranty is hard to prove.
  • Check the address and opening hours on the shop's profile and confirm them before you set off. These details change.
