What headlight restoration involves

Polycarbonate headlights turn yellow and cloudy over time from sunlight, and at night you see less of the road. Restoration means sanding and polishing, then a protective layer (UV clear coat, film or ceramic coating), without which the lens yellows again within months. A cracked headlight or one with moisture inside can't be fixed by polishing.

Typical duration
1 h 30 min
How often
When the headlights are yellow or cloudy. With a good protective layer, the result lasts a few years.

How to choose a business in Platýkampos

  • Ask for a written price before the job and what it covers: labour, parts, materials.
  • Ask what warranty you get and keep the invoice: without it, a warranty is hard to prove.
  • Check the address and opening hours on the business's profile and confirm them before you set off. These details change.
