Refurbishment brings wheels back to their original shape and look: straightening wheels bent by a pothole, then blasting and powder coating or, for alloy wheels, diamond cutting. A bent wheel causes vibration in the steering wheel and can lose air. A cracked or badly bent one is usually safer to replace: ask the workshop what can be repaired and with what warranty.
