Spark plug replacement
Spark plugs ignite the air and petrol mixture in the cylinders. Worn ones cause hard starts, misfires, a rough idle and higher fuel use. They are all replaced at once, with the type the manufacturer specifies. Diesel engines have no spark plugs but glow plugs, which only help cold starts and are usually replaced when they fail.
